 Unusual and interesting sculptures in Prague

Even if you have been to Prague many times, you will be surprised when you see with your own eyes how many unusual and strange statues and monuments adorn this city. Perhaps you have even passed by some of them, but never suspected what a miracle is hidden in the yard next to you or above your head. I will help you see them and understand the national character of the Czechs, their ironic and sometimes even mocking attitude to life. Some of these sculptures have already become legends and cause surprise and admiration of tourists. I will introduce you to the most famous of them and recommend that you definitely visit them while in Prague.


Commander (the cloak of conscience):

Address: Cihelná 2, Prague 1. Courtyard of the Franz Kafka Museum. To get there, take the green A metro line, stop Malostranská.

This man is the famous Austrian psychoanalyst, psychiatrist and neurologist Sigmund Freud.

Saint Wenceslas sitting on a dead horse. The statue is located in the Lucerna Passage.
