True, there are quite a lot of attractions in the city - temples, museums, statues, etc. - If you plan correctly, you will be able to visit almost everything. Don't forget that Milan is also the fashion capital of the world and shopping trip will not disappoint.

If you don't mind paying for a little romance, you can head to Verona and visit the places where the tragic love story of Romeo and Juliet took place . You can do this by train or bus, but if you plan to return to Milan on the same day, buy your tickets in advance. To travel by train, you need to visit Milan Centrale train station (Milano Centrale):
You can get to the station by the green M2 or yellow M3 metro line, stop Centrale FS.
There are two types of trains to Verona: regional and high-speed. I recommend buying tickets in advance - it will cost you less. Tickets can be purchased at www.omio.com. Please note that you will arrive in Verona at the train station called Porta Nuova, from where you can walk to the city center in 15-20 minutes. The ticket will cost you about 17 euros, and you will arrive in Verona in an hour and a half (that's 160 kilometers).
Verona can also be reached by bus: tickets can be bought on the website www.flixbus.co.uk. Please note that buses usually depart from Lampugnano station (take the red M1 metro line, stop Lampugnano), and this time in Verona you will arrive at Porta Nuova. The journey will last 2-4 hours. A bus ticket is usually cheaper than a train ticket (about 10 euros).
If you are planning to visit Verona, I recommend doing it on the second day, and on the first and third days sightseeing and shopping in Milan.
