Where to eat relatively inexpensively in Budapest

There are many attractions in Budapest, but visiting them will not satisfy your hunger. Naturally, you will have to think about food. The capital of Hungary has many cafes, restaurants and beer pubs. It all depends on your pocket. Let's first satisfy the interest of those people who want to eat relatively inexpensively. I will list what options are at your disposal.

We have already mentioned that if you do not want to spend money, it is better to buy the product at the market or supermarket and prepare the food at home. You have another opportunity on the street, in Budapest Central Bazaar, hypermarkets, fast food outlets. The address of the most famous food court is Arena plaza, Kerepesi 9 (near Keleti station).

For Sale Pub

I definitely recommend visiting this pub. It is distinguished by its originality and is very popular among tourists.

There are jars and baskets full of peanuts on the tables. Eat as much as you want for free, and throw the crust right on the floor. Don't worry - that's how it is in this pub. The walls are strewn with papers on which are written words of gratitude, wishes, notes or anything else from visitors.

The pub has two floors. Please note that the dishes are served in huge portions and you are unlikely to cope with them. You can ask to split it into two plates. It will be cheaper this way. Well, look at the photos below. Will you overcome?

Goulash costs 1,600 forints, half a liter of Hungarian beer costs 990 forints.

For Sale Pub is located opposite the central market of Budapest. Address: Vámház körút, 2.

Open every day from 12:00 to 03:00.

Payment in cash.
