Austria is famous for its culinary traditions and national cuisine. No matter how much time you spend in Vienna, be it a few hours or several days, I recommend trying the dishes that have become local legends: Wiener schnitzel, Tafelspitz, potato salad, apple strudel, Sachertorte and others. There are so many attractions in Austria that exploring them will take a lot of energy. You will have to spend a lot of money in the Austrian capital, so if you want to save money, buy food in the supermarket and cook at home. I think you will find this useful.
Wuerstelstand:
Wuerstelstand literally means sausage stand. Here you will be offered different types of sausages, and even of such a large size (wrapped in larger bread) that you will undoubtedly fill up.

For two people, 10-15 euros will be enough. I highly recommend it - you won't regret it.
Schachtelwirt:
Schachtelwirt 5 minutes walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral. This is a fast food restaurant, but they also offer other dishes. The hall is small, there are few tables, so you may have to sit outside. If you do decide to take one portion and add a drink, it will cost you 20-25 euros, and in the first option - half of this amount.
